ReCREATION

The Fine Arts Department of Ringling College of Art and Design is pleased to present ReCREATION, a collection of works by artists Agustina Simon, Bella Higgins, Cheyanne Witter, Lizi Budagashvili, Maha Yousaf, Mo Johnson, Ping Ho, and Tammy-Mariah Gill.

ReCREATION places an emphasis on the importance of experimentation and devotion in regards to an ever-evolving studio practice. The exhibition serves to highlight activities that each artist partakes in for pure enjoyment rather than as a job, schoolwork, or general obligation. By showcasing works made using methods that deviate from their typical professional studio practice, the artists are able to be simultaneously confident and vulnerable while communicating a brand new side of themselves and their artistic journey.
