I focus on the female form and the societal body pressures pushed upon them. I question the beauty standards in western society and why these norms are instilled; who is instilling them and why do we follow? Women face pressure for their weight, height, color, and more, which can lead to bad relationships with their bodies and influences their willingness to conform for society. Although, some of these beauty “traditions” are willingly used among women, I am simply depicting experiences of the female form to meet society's standard or not.
