Aura is the energy that surrounds and is generated by a person, place, or object. Although
these artists have different views on spirituality they came together to express a topic that is too
beautiful and powerful to put into words. As Edward Hopper, a remarkable American painter
once said, “If you could say it in words there would be no reason to paint.” Within this exhibition
Gabrielle Higgs will be displaying her bold atmospheric changing portraits of people of color,
Adam Jones showing his reminiscent portraits of old friends and medieval characters that are
satisfyingly peaceful, and Marley Jabloner will be showing her alluring abstract pieces. Within
the bodies of work shown, they explore the energy that surrounds and is generated by a person,
place, or object.
