NODUS TOLLENS (n.); the realization that the plot of your life doesn’t make sense to you anymore which requires you to go back and reread the chapters you had originally skimmed to get to the good parts, only to learn that all along you were supposed to choose your own adventure. Angelaure Pierre’s work explores intimate and complex emotional relationships between fictional characters and the people in their lives through poetry and graphic paintings. Dorin Mogda operates within the dynamics of his emotional, metaphysical, and physical life. He establishes an interplay between abstraction and realism to explore his personal connections to the sublime.
